Myles Turner Latest News
Strong on both ends in defeat

Turner ended Thursday's 120-114 loss to Oklahoma City with 12 points (4-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and five blocks across 33 minutes. Turner entered Thursday's game a bit banged up with a right oblique contusion, but made a strong impact on both ends of the court while leading all players in blocks and rebounds in a double-double showcase. Turner matched a season high in blocks, having done so in three outings. He has recorded a double-double in five contests so far this season.
Good to go against OKC

Turner (oblique) is available for Thursday's game versus the Thunder, Tony East of SI.com reports. Turner has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite dealing with a right oblique contusion. Turner is averaging 14.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.9 assists in 30.0 minutes across his last 10 appearances.
Questionable for Thursday

Turner is questionable to play Thursday versus Oklahoma City due to a right oblique contusion. Turner represents the only member of Indiana's typical rotation to appear on Wednesday's injury report thus far. He has started 16 consecutive contests, but his status will nonetheless need to be monitored.
Strong two-way performance Monday

Turner chipped in 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 35 minutes during Monday's 111-105 victory over the Warriors. Turner was impressive on both ends of the court Monday and played a prominent role in the Pacers' fifth straight win. This was his first double-double since Nov. 8 and the first time he scored 20 or more points since recording 34 points in a win over the Heat on Nov. 17. Turner has scored in double digits regularly, though, doing so in nine of his last 10 games while putting up 14.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in that stretch.
Cleared to return

Turner (undisclosed) has checked back into Monday's game against the Warriors. Turner went back to the locker room midway through the third quarter for unknown reasons but checked back in at the end of the period. He shouldn't have any limitations down the stretch.
Heads to locker room

Turner (undisclosed) went back to the locker room during Monday's game against the Warriors, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Turner departed the contest with 6:52 left in the third quarter and went back to the locker room. Specifics regarding his exit are unknown. While he's absent, Thomas Bryant and Obi Toppin could see more action at the center position.
Strong defensive showing in win

Turner logged 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 25 minutes during Sunday's 122-95 victory over Sacramento. It's the third time in the last six games that Turner has delivered multiple blocks and steals. The 28-year-old center hasn't pulled down more than seven boards in any December contest, and through nine appearances this month, he's averaging 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 2.1 threes, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals.
Drops 19 points in win

Turner provided 19 points (5-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 34 minutes during Thursday's 120-111 win over the Suns. The big man tied Andrew Nembhard for the second-highest mark in scoring on the Pacers behind Pascal Siakam (25 points) on Thursday. Turner also tied his season high in three-point attempts, and he is on pace to shoot a career-high 40.9 percent from downtown while putting up 5.1 attempts per game. Over his last 10 outings, the 28-year-old has averaged 12.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.0 assists while shooting 39.2 percent from deep across 30.6 minutes per contest.
Four rejections Sunday

Turner provided 14 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists, four blocks and two steals in 28 minutes during Sunday's 119-104 win over the Pelicans. The veteran center extended his streak of games with at least one block to 21 with another strong performance at the rim. Since missing a calf in mid-November with a minor calf issue, Turner is averaging 12.4 points, 7.2 boards, 2.4 blocks, 1.8 assists, 1.8 threes and 0.8 steals, and his 2.1 blocks per game on the season ranks him fourth in the NBA behind Victor Wembanyama, Walker Kessler and Brook Lopez.
